Henry Mini Bolt .22

Letters from Mini Bolt .22 owners

Dear Mr. Imperato,

My son, Peter, and I were thrilled to meet you and to see your entire product line at the NRA convention in Pittsburgh.

You had quite an impression on him; since meeting you, he has told the story over and over, perfecting his Brooklyn accent, when he quotes you, "I like the way you look, kid." Since he's only 8 years old, it's pretty funny to hear.

Thank you for making a great product that has made shooting so accessible to my son.

Sincerely,
Chris Casey (Peter)

Dear Anthony,

Got to fire the first shots on the Henry MIni-Bolt and the H001 last Sunday.  I have to re-zero both rifles since the ammo that I used wasn't that accurate.  I'll buy target/match ammo and zero the rifles again.  Both functioned flawlessly.

My son, wife, and I fired the Mini-Bolt, and it's a fun, little rifle.  The smile on my son's face when he fired his first-ever shot is priceless.  And his first-ever shot was done on a Henry rifle.

Best regards,

Rex C. Hinlo

Dear Henry Repeating Arms       Keith Martin, 8 years old, started shooting his Henry Mini Bolt .22 rifle at age 5.  Recently scored "Marksman" qualification during an Appleseed Shoot in Yanceyville, N.C.  Quite an accomplishment considering the timed segments were just long enough for Keith to fire 4 to 7 shoots as opposed to the 10 shoots of semi-auto fire the course is designed for and attending only one day of the two day event.

Thanks again, we look forward to many years of enjoyment with our Henry firearms.

Sincerely,

Ricky Barbour

I would like to express my gratitude to Henry Repeating Arms,  I recently purchased a Mini-bolt in .22lr for my brother for his birthday,  I am impressed with the accuracy and quality of this little rifle.  Thanks for making such a fine rifle for a child's first gun.

Dear Anthony,

We went to the Russell Sports today and found out that they had new stocks of Henry Rifles.

I immediately go to my wife to ask for a "clearance" to purchase one, and when she saw the rifle, she asked "is this the same brand (H005) you bought for our son?"  When I said yes, she readily gave me the go ahead.

There were other brands that I was considering, but I decided to stick with the Henry brand because they're Made in the USA by hardworking American Craftsmen with American components and Henry's customer service is second to none!

Thank you for making such good products and taking care of your customers!

Sincerely yours,

Rex C. Hinlo

Dear Sirs:   I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how pleased both my 11yr. old daughter Mallory and I are with the recent purchase of your Henry Mini-Bolt. This is an excellent introductory firearm that has made it simple for me to teach safe firearms handling and shooting techniques to her. I have been an avid shooter and outdoorsman my entire life and I am elated that my daughter has chosen to join me in sport shooting. After approximately one year of shooting with the standard Williams Fire Sights (which she loves), we decided to kick it up a little bit and purchased the Henry cantiliever scope mount and a 4x32 scope. She continues to thoroughly enjoy it and continues to have much success on the range. I forsee her stepping to a larger model Henry in the not-so-distant future. Thank you again for manufacturing such a quality firearm.

Dear Anthony,

Greetings!  After two months of saving up for a Henry product, I finally bought one.  Not only for myself, but mainly for my eight year old son, Lorenzo.

I bought a Henry H005 today from Russell Sports Calgary.  We went to the store yesterday, and he tried the H005.  I compared it with a competitor's single shot, but my son's mind was already made up on the Henry.  I gave him a 2008 Henry Catalog that I requested sometime last year, and I always catch him going through the catalog whenever he is in his room.

I let him read the manual twice today, before allowing him to touch the rifle.  I was surprised that he answered all the questions I asked him with regards to the manual.  That shows how user friendly your manual is.  I will let him read the manual over and over, and at the same time show him how the rifle functions, putting emphasis on the safety aspect, before I bring him to the range.

Several factors were considered when we decided to buy the rifle.  First, was the simplicity of the design.  I like the fact that you have to activate the cocking knob to fully arm the rifle even if you have already chambered a round.  Secondly, my son is very comfortable with the rifle, and it has  very nice sights.  Last, but not least, is that a single shot rifle will teach young shooters to focus on accuracy.

I am confident that this would not be the last Henry product that we will purchase.  I am now considering an Acu-Bolt for myself.  Attached are photographs that we took when we unpacked the rifle at home.

My kindest regards,

Rex C. Hinlo

I bought one of your Henry mini-bolts for my grandson when he was born.  Although it will be well used when he finally gets to shoot it, I'm sure it will still be in excellent functioning condition..... if I decided to give it to him.

Right now it stands in the corner of the door in my shop.  Squirrels are a big nuisance on my place in the country, getting into buildings, ravaging the garden, and intentionally aggravating the dogs.  After having had enough one day, I grabbed the little rifle and a couple of .22 shorts.  I am an average height man but the fit of the little rifle isn't that bad.  To my surprise, the first shot out of the rifle dropped the squirrel, since followed by many more.  Out of the box it was amazingly accurate.  The hi-viz sights allow me to shoot without my glasses and you would be shocked how blind I am in my shooting eye.

Great product.  I'm proud its made in America.  I hope your business continues well in these rough times.

My five year old, Brooklyn, is holding her new Henry Mini-bolt.  A few years ago I bought one for my son.  Now that my girl is five thought I would let her try her brother's gun.  She liked shooting and asked Santa Clause for a rifle for Christmas.    Her favorite color is orange.  So when I saw that the Mini-bolt came with an orange stock I knew what she was getting for Christmas.
