Henry Lever Youth .22

Letters from Lever Youth .22 owners

Hello Henry Rifles,

I just gave my 9 year old daughter a Henry lever action Youth model. My daughter says its really "cool" and she loves shooting it. Hitting the metal targets is really easy and the gun is pretty

The way we are going through ammo I'm glad it shoots .22 shorts as well as LR.

Thanks for a great product.

Sincerely,

Lane Frazier

Greetings to All at Henry Repeating Arms,

I know it might seem strange, but with the current political climate I felt compelled to purchase my grandson his first rifle. I am enclosing a picture for your review. I did not want to wait too long to get him set up. In the picture he is 4 days old. Maybe some kind of record. I actual picked it up before he was born, but I didn't think guns in the hospital was the proper approach.

I promise to write back and send another picture when he is actually trained on firearm handling and shooting.   Again Thanks for your excellent product.

Dear Henry, I purchased a youth rifle for my son for Christmas, and then purchased a goldenboy for me so I could shoot with him.  I will be purchasing  a  44 bigboy soon. Thanks and keep up the good work!!!

Mr. Imperato,   I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my purchase of a new Henry Rifle! The feel and finish of this firearm is excellent and you may continue to brag about the quality of the wood you use for your stocks. I purchased this rifle (youth model) to enjoy inexpensive and instructional shooting with my son Daniel (age 6). You might find it amusing that when I took it home and pulled it out of the box Daniel smiled real big and said, "that's John Wayne's gun!" My goal is to pass this fine rifle down to him as he gets older as I hope to purchase a Golden Boy for myself when fiances so allow. Allow me to say that since other "American" firearm manufacturers have turn to foreign countries to produce their product, that I can't help but have a sense of pride when I look along the barrel of our new Henry and see "Made in Brooklyn, NY." Keep up the good work and I hope to send a picture some day with my son and I both holding Henrys!   Sincerely,

Dear Mr.Imperato,

Here is a picture of my son, Bennett Rogers (10 years of age at time of photo, 11 as of Oct 2008) with his Henry Youth Model .22 Lever Action Rifle.

Ben loves his Henry and I love what a fabulous value the Henry firearms are combined with your incredible customer service.

Much success to you and yours.

Sincerely,

I initially purchased my Henry youth 22LR because of the "Henry" reputation. After using it as a varmit rifle, I was so impressed with the accuracy and ease of use, that I purchased another. I have two grandsons, aged 4 and 5. I am giving each one a Henry youth 22 when they are old enough. It is the best sporting rifle I have ever fired. I was in the US Army for 20+ years and have fired a lot of rifles in my time, so when I say it is the best, you can be very proud of this weapon. It surpasses Browning. Winchester, Remington and Marlin.

Anthony, Thank you very much for your follow-up note. I did receive your beautiful catalog and promptly went to my local store (J&R Outdoor in Livermore, CA) to purchase a Henry youth lever action for my 8-year old son, David. They did not have one in stock but ordered one for me and I picked it up several weeks ago. It's a fabulous gun with smooth action and great accuracy.

David received it last week as a reward for reading 100 books in the local library summer reading program. At the range he hit the bulls- eye with his very first shot. I've attached a range photo taken on my cell phone.

I have also ordered several accessories from your catalog for him: gun case, wall tin, and ceramic mug. All are very nice quality and seem to increase David's pride of ownership.

One item I looked to purchase was a metal barrel band, I noticed you sell the brass ones but didn't see the metal version. If it's possible to buy a metal barrel band, I'd sure like to.

Dear Sir, I just thought that you might like to know that my 10 year old son Ethan has chosen to purchase your 22lr Hoo1 as his first rifle. I have been instructing him in shooting 22's and I have only Marlins. Upon seeing your magazine he informed me that he found the rifle for him which reminded him of old cowboy rifles. I am very proud of him because he has been saving his allowance of three dollars a week for this. We will let you know how we like it once we actually pick it up next week and then have a chance for him to fire it. I am sure we will not be disappointed. _______________________

Dear Sir, As you can see by the enclosed picture, Ethan is one happy camper. Thanks for the memories. Ethan's dad, Fred

I bought a Henry lever action about 6 months ago for my 8 year old son , planning to hold onto it for a couple years so he could grow into it , but I couldn't wait any longer so we took it out today to break it in . What a slick , smooth action ...accuracy was terrific , it shot to point of aim right out of the box . Needless to say , my son was thrilled ! I will recommend this rifle to all I know , it truly is one finely manufactured American firearm . Fit and finish are excellent , it is mechanically tight ...everything I hoped for and more . Please keep up the good work , you have created another American classic rifle .
