I purchased a Mini-Bolt last month for my son's 8th birthday, and he has been very pleased with it. We bought a brick of .22s and headed to the range. Thank you for making such a quality product here in the USA, and allowing my son and I to enjoy some great shooting time together.

We had the BSA Annual Meeting last week in San Diego. Henry rifles were presented to three of our founders, Dr. Dick Miller, and Larry and Donna Cunningham. The Chief Scout Executive and the National Director of the Outdoor Program Group participated in the presentation. While presenting we spoke of Henry Repeating Arms support of our project and the fact that we appreciate all you do. Sincerely,

Hello Anthony,
Well better late than never I suppose, my wife's company had shooting night at the range and attached are some photos of my son (Joshua age 9) and I, and of course the Henry mini-bolt. We had a great time, he spots for me and I spot for him. Sorry I did not get back to you sooner.
Take care,

Dear Mr. Imperato, President
Thank you for writing to me about the Henry Repeating Firearms catalog that I requested. I did receive the Henry catalog and went out and bought the Henry Golden Boy 22 caliber. After reading the instruction manual I took the Golden Boy to the shooting range and loaded it with 5- 22 long caliber bullets.
I set up the target at 25 yards to sight in the rifle. The bulls-eye of the target was the size of a silver dollar. I was in a sitting position and rested the Golden Boy on a small sand bag to get more stability. The Golden Boy was ready to fire the first bullet.
My first pull on the trigger and the Golden Boy fired beautifully. I picked up the binoculars and sighted in the target. The first bullet had entered the target dead center in the bull's-eye.
I cocked the lever on the Golden Boy to discharge the first shell. The lever action was effortless and smooth. The second bullet was now ready to fire. I squeezed the trigger and the Golden Boy fired. The second bullet discharged from the Golden Boy. I grabbed the binoculars and the second bullet was also in the bull's eye just a tad to the right of the first bullet that was fired.
To make a long story short. The last 3 bullets that I fired from the Henry Golden Boy all entered the target in the bull's eye area. I was amazed and to say just thrilled.
I later set the target at a range of fifty yards. Using the same size bull's eye which looked like a small dot from that range, I still managed to hit the bull's eye several times.
The Henry Golden Boy is a great rifle. The workmanship is the best I have seen. All of you did a wonderful job. I thank you and all the people who worked on my rifle.
The Henry Golden Boy rifle is a rifle that every shooter should own. I have recommended it too many people for them to enjoy as much as I do.
Thank you all again.

Dear Anthony,
I thought you might like to have a copy of these photos... here is the story behind them.
My GG Grandfather, Carl Kobitz, was a Texas Ranger in 1871. He is buried in the family cemetery out on our ranch near Raisin, Texas (south Texas, between the towns of Victoria and Goliad).
There is an organization that was founded in the 1894 called the "Former Texas Rangers Association" - organized to be a social and support club for current and former Texas Rangers and their families. I am a proud member of that organization.
The Former Texas Rangers Association, in conjunction with the Texas Historical Commission, provides Texas Ranger grave markers for the gravesites of all former Texas Rangers, and this past weekend, I traveled to our ranch and set the marker for my Texas Ranger Great Great Grandfather who died in 1888.
After the marker was set, I wanted to take some photos of it to share with my family, and I just could not resist the temptation to lean my Henry rifle against the marker, next to the Texas Ranger cross.
We know that Carl Kobitz carried a repeating rifle, but we don't know if it was a Henry. Unfortunately, there are no photos of Carl with any guns, and none of his guns are owned by my family. We do know that he was a founding member of the Coletto Shooting Society, a gun club founded by the German immigrants who settled that area. We are trying to locate a photo of that club, and hopefully that will tell us if he owned a Henry or Winchester.
Finally, just waned to let you know how much I am enjoying that little .22 rifle. It shoots like a champ.
Sincerely,
Frank Brown

I just purchased an octogon Henry 22 LR for my 10 year old grandson. It is amazingly slick, tight, and machined to good centerfire quality. It has heirloom written all over it. I've never seen a better built piece.

Mr. Imperato:
I cannot thank you enough for helping the United States Border Patrol Pistol Team to find the perfect retirement gift for one of our most respected Agents. An Assistant Chief Patrol Agent stationed at Border Patrol Headquarters in Washington, D.C. recently retired after a long and dedicated career. The members of the Border Patrol National Pistol Team wanted to show our respect and gratitude to the Assistant Chief for all that he has done for the team over the years. The engraved Golden Boy with our pistol team's challenge coin embedded in the stock which was mounted on your display case was the perfect gift. The craftsmanship was flawless and the rifle was the envy of all that attended the retirement ceremony.
Thank You on behalf of all of the members of the Border Patrol National Pistol Team. With your help we were able to find the perfect retirement gift for an Agent who is greatly respected and will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
Robert Vadasz

Dear Anthony First we would like to express our sympathy for the passing of your father Louis. I'm sure that he will missed by all who knew him. I would also like to thank you for the quick reply and catolog along with the follow up email. I really didn't need the catolog to make my decision on purchasing a Henry for my sons 12th birthday. We had a chance to shoot one this past summer and we really liked what we saw. I just registered it online tonight, and like to say that you have a great web site also. It was also a pleasure doing business with John Roger @ the Jolly Roger gun shop. He was very helpful and thats what you don't see at some of the big box stores. I'm giving some thought on getting myself a Henry Big Boy .357 magnum sometime. That is one sharp looking rifle. I have enclosed a picture of my son and I after he opened up his gift.

Hello Henry Firearms, Enclosed are pictures of 2 targets I shot today 1/06/08 with your Octagon barreled .22 that I recently bought. I was shooting at 52 yards with various ammo on a mild day with little to no wind. As you can see, these rifles shoot. I was extremely impressed by how well the gun shot at this range. A 1 hole group from a lever action? I thought I was seeing things. I have a Simmons Mag .22 scope on it [not exactly the most expensive scope out there], and tried all types of ammo. When the money is on the line I'm loading it with the Federal Gold Medal [lower grade], and I'm getting a bunch of the CCI green tag for squirrel and rabbit hunting. I'm so pleased with the accuracy of this gun, I got to wondering if there isn't a Big Boy in my future. Thanks for making a superb product that the average man can still afford. Daniel M. Anthony, i purchased the big loop carbine shortly after receiving your catolog and i love this rifle! I only had to raise the sight elevator one notch and it was all sighted in and ready to roll. The action is the smoothest of any gun i own and right out of the box!!! The accuracy is great and the sights work perfect for my eyes. The wood is very nice as well and very light-weight. I am sending a pic along with this as well of me with my rifle as i know u like these reviews for your website. Thanks for producing a quality American product and keeping the lever-action tradition alive.

Dear Sir.
I have been shooting since I was 9 years old, and achieved my Dominion of Canada Rifle Association, marksman certification by age 12. I have coached many young marksman, and now it is my sons turn. I purchased him a Henry youth model .22cal. lever action as his first rifle, I was so impressed with the Quality, Fit and Finish that I bought myself a Henry lever action .22
My son is now five years old and has been practicing firearms safety with his toy guns for two years. He is ready to shoot and what a natural. Thank you for making such a fine product, and helping to promote safe shooting for our youth.
One proud Dad.

Here are a couple of photos taken this past season at Ellenville, N.Y. The 'Shooting Arcade' is set at 50yds. and provides me and my sons a variety of shots. Those are old golf balls hanging at the ends!
I've had my Henry for 3 years and have fired over 9000 rounds (Federal copper bulk pack) without jamming. I clean and lubricate every 200 rounds and the action is smooth as silk. That's a Winchester 3-9X32 Air Rifle scope which is good for 100yd. targeting and varmints.
Next Henry will be full size; most likely your Pump Action .22 Cal.;, a fond reminder of my bygone summers at the shooting galleries of Coney Island in the '50's

Thought I would let you know that what you already know. You make one fantastic and accurate rifle. My wife gave me a Henry H001 22 for Christmas and since then I have put about 200 rounds downrange. This is one of the best rifles I have ever seen for the price and you are making some fine American firearms. Keep it up and you can bet I will be buying at least a couple more for the grandkids when they are ready to shoot. As for me now I want a 22 magnum. Take Care Michael Garner
