I'm a NRA Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun Instructor and also teach hunter safety. Enclosed is my target (fig. A) with 3-shots fired as indicated. Bottom line, I have purchased an excellent and may I add accurate rifle. I am proud to own such a gun."
Rick Tarquinio
Harrington, ME
I inspected it, for smooth action, finish, imperfections in workmanship on the exterior and price. I compared it to the Winchester and Marling lever action .22 rifles. They were heavier, they were more expensive, but their actions were no more smooth or reliable than your own Golden Boy Rifle. Thus after deliberation on the above factors, I decided to add your rifle to my growing collection"
"Sunday morning, I decided to give the Golden Boy a shooters test for function, reliability, and utmost, accuracy right out of the box, no adjustments being made to the sights."
"Well, to my surprise, the golden performs great and enclose my homemade target attached to a pine stump at 50 feet distance, resting the rifle on a pool table and cushion. You will note, the first shot was a flyer, as I got use to the trigger pull. The other four shots are right in the sweet spot, tho I am aiming a bit low on the bullseyes."
"You are to be complimented in several ways. 1. It's a USA made product, which is becoming rare these days due to NAFTA, GATT and other stupid trade agreements. 2. The workmanship is fine for a not so expensive rifle. 3. The accuracy, workmanship, and price make this a good choice for the beginning and seasoned hunter or target shooter-plinker"
"My only comments would be to use a longer barrel, say 24 inches, to give the rifle a longer profile and carry more shots in the magazine tube and use sling swivel studs, in case a shooter-hunter-plinker wants to use a sling while carrying the rifle about on the range or in the field. This frees up the hands to do other things such as work on targets, climb obstacles, etc. without laying down his or her rifle. Thus, it performs a utilitarian function and a safety feature, so that bystanders cannot handle the weapon and accidentally discharge it, particularly a curious child or the merely meddlesome type."

The trigger is a fantastic 2 pounds on my RCBS gauge. Looks, action, trigger, price, plus made is the USA. Thanks to your craftsmen, you have a winner. I am 68 years old and wear trifocal glasses. I shot this enclosed target at our 50 foot indoor range. This is 100 shots with CCI Blazers."
"Next week my 12 years old grandson will get to shoot this rifle. I hope I get it back.."
Rex Rawley
Valley Grove, WV
"The quality, design & price are excellent; something about it, when you shoot it makes you feel special. I am very proud to be the owner of such a fine Brooklyn, NY made rifle."
"Any plans on a Golden Boy in the new .17 HMR?"
Stanley Noren
My purchase was based solely on the fine workmanship, extremely smooth action and of course the look. It will be one of the stars of my collection. I have not had the pleasure of firing the rifle yet, but I am sure it will be a pleasant experience."
"From someone who has competed in long range shooting for years, having custom built rifles to produce extreme accuracy and precise movement of the action, I find your product well within the guidelines I would have set forth to have a rifle of this type custom made. My highest compliments to you. I am now looking forward to the Golden Boy in 22 Mag. It also will be an added compliment to my collection."
C. Peter Pederson
Well, even though he has been shooting for a few years, under strict supervision, he had a Great time with it. Of course my son and I were also ecstatic, with him and the rifle. He quickly learned how to operate the gun and put nearly 100 rounds thru it into a 6-inch group, bench resting it. Then my son grabbed it and put 5 shots in one hole. Thanks for a wonderful boy's first rifle. Took pictures and when I get them developed, will send them."
Dr. Richard H. Fox
Not only will I do more business with Henry rifles, I will refer anyone I know buying a gun from you. Your customer service department is the best I've ever dealt with. "
Michael A. Simms
He thought I was going to give him an auto-loader and even had an expression of disappointment when he first opened the box. However, after shooting a few rounds, he was elated with the handling characteristics and accuracy. Every time I talk with him, he thanks me again and again."
"I also purchased the Henry .22 mini-bolt in anticipation of my grandson's summer visit this year. I think I will have to buy another one as I have decided I need one too. It is a great little squirrel gun. Would you ever consider modifying the mini-bolt to include an extendable stock to facilitate bigger "grandpa" type kids? Thanks for a great American made product line and keep up the good work!"

The action was as smooth as the golden boy and the accuracy right out of the box was dead on. The wood grain on the stock was beautiful. Keep up the good work."
Gary Walters
The America walnut stock, the fit and finish are fantastic and so is the function. It's nice to see a quality firearm at a fair price."

Then I heard of your product. I decided to check one out. At my local dealer I found it. My mother and I had a talk and I decided I would trade my 4 wheeler for it. The dealer gave me some money and the wonderful gun. I figured I wouldn't be very good with open sights so I was going to put a scope on it. Before I applied the scope I tested it out. I was really impressed a non-expensive gun actually shot that good. I even got my first kill on the gun the same day. The gun had to have been my favorite gun I have ever shot. I would recommend this gun to any adult or youth that wanted an affordable great gun such as mine. I would like to thank you for making me a product I really like and can afford."

My dad has let me target practice a hundred times since we brought it home yesterday! I am going to hunt partridge and rabbits with my dad this season. I know the gun saftey rules. This gun is perfect for me. I will keep it and give it to my children when I grow up. Thank you!"
Nicholas Brundle
Lunenburg, VT
I am very pleased with all of the guns. They have a very smooth action and are very accurate. They are all nice looking guns. They are all reasonably priced and made in America."
Curtis Daniel
Sherman, TX
This is my first Henry but certainly not my last. This is one of the finest rifles I have ever fired, and I have fired a lot. I have yet to find any rifle that I am more pleased with. The craftsmanship and beauty is second to none. I would like a brochure of your firearms. Once again thank you for such a fine rifle."
Michael Bell
Nauvoo, AL
The action is as smooth as the 22 rifle and will be an important part of my guns for many years to come. Also my daughter (who is a much better shot than I) has already decided that she will be next in our family line to own these rifles. In today's confusing business world of CEO's and company presidents gleaning all their profits from their companies, while their employees and stockholders lose millions, it is rewarding to have someone like yourself, who takes charge and leads his employees in giving their customers all the considerations that you bestowed upon me, so that I could purchase my Henry Goldenboys with like serial numbers. You sir are a wonderful example that all company presidents & CEO's should follow! Again, thank you for assisting me in my purchases and I strongly recommend any who enjoy craftsmanship & fine shooting, should indeed purchase your rifles."

When our local dealer handed me the display model, I was instantly impressed by its Old West looks. My first thought was "this would be perfect for teaching the grandkids Cowboy Action Shooting." Then, I worked the lever. The smooth action sold the gun"
Ric Windmiller
Elk Grove, CA
Looks great; shoots great. I can hit an empty .22 carton at 50 yards with it from a kneeling position. Great gun for cold weather shooting (no lever to get your gloves caught on!) Great price, too! I hope that some day you make a pump rifle in a centerfire pistol caliber such as 38/357 or 44 caliber."
Robert Raupp
Sauk Rapids, MN
My hunting partner bought a browning lever action and I bought the Henry. He shot his then mine and he could not believe how smooth the Henry is over his Browning. He stated that he could have bought 3 Henrys for what he paid for the browning. "
Bill Cowley
It is a fun and super accurate gun well capable of reaching out at 100 yards and keeping a tight pattern. I have shot against guys with expensive and jacked up 10-22 Rugers and kept up with them. I am dying to ask if you are going to make your version of the new .17 Rimfire that is now out. If you do, I and everyone that has used my Henry wants one from you guys as well. Keep up the good work, and thank you for your time."
Woody Frame
It feels great; shoots great, right out of the box, and is a beautiful rifle just to look at. I've shown it to several of my friends, and I'm pretty sure they will be buying Henry's before long. This rifle is the icon of our country's heritage; and yet the price is very reasonable. I'm nearly 60 years old; have owned several rifles; but this Henry golden boy is unsurpassed. God bless you all at Henry Repeating Arms, and thanks again for producing a rifle of this quality!! "
